We are excited to share how our partnerships are empowering educators across the country to lead high quality virtual STEM programs and inspire the future workforce of America. On Tuesday, September 29, LET’S GO Baltimore was pleased to lead a professional development workshop for the Boys and Girls Club of America, whose mission is to enable all young people to reach their full potential.
Educators and community leaders representing Boys and Girls of America locations from Hawaii to Georgia were trained on how to facilitate a virtual 3D printing course for youth during COVID-19. Our Baltimore STEM Director, Ms. Amanda, guided attendees on effective STEM learning through Tinkercad 3D design software, sharing resources and strategies developed by LET’S GO after piloting the curriculum virtually this summer.
In this new context for learning, partnerships like this allow us to build our communities’ capacity to engage youth in high quality STEM learning and 21st century skill development.
