LETS GO believes in the adage: “What gets measured, gets managed.” We strive to capture data on all aspects of our work so that we have the insights required to drive continuous improvement.
In addition to our efforts to collect monitoring data, we contract the renowned PEAR Institute: Partnership in Education and Resilience at Harvard Medical School and McLean Hospital (PEAR), to measure the impact of our out-of-school time STEM programming on student and instructor stem-related attitudes.
Furthermore, being diligent in measuring our impact ensures we measures and meet the outcome goals in our funding agreements. We want all of donors and funders to feel confident that their support is justified by the outcomes that we produce.
Covid-19 Early Response & Impact
The School Year 2020 spring semester was disrupted by the Covid-19 quarantine that closed schools across the US. Students in under-resourced communities in the Baltimore, MD and Washington, DC regions were negatively impacted. Through the agility of the LETS GO Team and its partners, STEM learning did not come to a halt.
