LETS GO is pleased to be partnering with AmeriCorps and Maryland Out of School Time once again to bring two new Volunteer In Service To America (VISTA) members, Saan Momayez and Hannah Wroton, to work with our Team.
In August, new Baltimore AmeriCorps VISTA member Saam joined our team as the Baltimore STEM Scholar’s Program Associate for a year of capacity-building service. Saam is a recent graduate from Indiana University Bloomington with a BA in biotechnology. During his time, he was involved with STEM-based after-school outreach programs in local elementary schools.
Helping our DC regional team, Hannah is in her third year of service as an AmeriCorps VISTA member and her first with LETS GO. As the D.C. region Transition Coach, her role is to support STEM Scholars as they transition from middle to high school and beyond. Her background in science and her passion for equity in STEM education will make her a great addition to our DC Team.
We are excited to welcome both Saam and Hannah to LETS GO, where they will advance our mission by building a strong STEM foundation for Baltimore and Washington, DC elementary and middle school students to carry into their future STEM careers.
