Four LETS GO STEM Scholars have recently completed Summer Internships at the United States Naval Surface Warfare Center in Carderock, Maryland. Trinity Beatty and Aniaa Johnson completed SEAP internships while Troyan Chaney and Salaah Alston completed NRIEP internships.

The scholars worked for 10 weeks during the summer with a team of engineers to design and develop solutions to naval engineering problems. They were given guidance and mentoring by senior staff members at Carderock. These internships were highly competitive, and the scholars’ experiences will be instrumental in advancing towards their STEM education and career goals.

LETS GO is very proud of all four of these STEM Scholars for the work that they accomplished this summer.
