This summer, seven highly motivated high school and college STEM Scholars will begin their virtual internships with the United States Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division. The high school Science Engineering Apprenticeship Program (SEAP) and college Naval Research Enterprise Internship Program (NREIP) are nationally competitive, prestigious internship opportunities. Scholars have also applied to internships at the Naval Research Laboratory and Johns Hopkins’ Applied Physics Laboratory.
This Internship-Mentoring cohort has allowed Scholars to come together throughout the school year to practice 21st-century workforce skills and network with their STEM-interested peers. LETS GO is committed to supporting and advocating for all students interested in pursuing STEM internships and careers. We congratulate them on their successes and look forward to seeing them achieve great things in STEM this summer!
